Wonderworld at David Jones

Kate Ballis' exhibition, 'Wonderworld' debuted at the newly relaunched Gallery at David Jones in Sydney, Australia in April 2022. The David Jones Gallery, created by Sir Charles Lloyd Jones (an accomplished landscape painter and grandson of David Jones) formerly nurtured the careers of artists such as Sidney Nolan and Jeffrey Smart. After a pause of 30 years, Ballis was chosen to have a solo show to celebrate the relaunch.
